Mohammed Kamran Maskin
Kamran Maskin, a highly experienced professional having extensively worked in the pharmaceutical industry since 2002. He has held senior international commercial roles in sales, marketing and business development. He has led multiple product launches, shaping pricing and reimbursement strategies, and driving commercial success across a range of therapeutic areas. He is currently the Northern European Country Manager for a global pharmaceutical company. Kamran holds a bachelor’s degree in Physiology & Pharmacology from Nottingham and an Executive MBA from the University of Bradford.
Kamran lives in Keighley and is married with four children. He enjoys sports, reading and travelling.

Atiq Saddique
Atiq attended local schools, and went on to graduate as a Master of Pharmacy from the University of Bradford in 2002. He worked as a pharmacy manager in the independent sector for a number of years before acquiring his own pharmacy businesses from 2011 in Keighley, which he currently runs, providing important healthcare services within the community. He has been with Abu Zahra Foundation since its inception in 2001.

Azhar Mahmood
Graduated with a law degree from the prestigious London School of Economics in 1997. He then went onto complete accountancy exams with the Institute of Chartered Accountants, England and Wales (ACA) and currently works as a Partner in Financial Advisory Services, for Deloitte & Touche LLP.
Azhar has also continued his religious studies after completing a year at Qasid Arabic language school, Jordan and continues his studies privately reading intermediate and advanced level texts in the various Islamic Sciences with local teachers.

Ithsham Tariq
Ithsham Tariq has over a decade of experience working across the public sector, higher education, and community development. He has held key roles focused on employability, careers, and student placement, helping individuals from diverse backgrounds access meaningful opportunities in education and the workforce.
Alongside his professional work, Ithsham has been actively involved in supporting grassroots Islamic organisations across the region. He has successfully organised a range of community events featuring internationally respected Islamic scholars, helping bridge the gap between traditional scholarship and contemporary British Muslim life. He joined Abu Zahra in 2009 and continues to bring together his experience in education, careers, and community engagement to serve with purpose and integrity.

Mohammed Majid Hussain
Majid earned his undergraduate degree in Accountancy from Bradford before working as a civil servant. In 2012, he completed a PGCE in Primary Education and has since taught successfully at a challenging inner-city school, recognised for academic excellence.
Majid has played a key role in developing Abu Zahra Press’ Madrasa Curriculum Series and regularly supports other publishing projects as a proofreader. He has a keen interest in the sirah, early Islamic history and travel.

Rashid Hussain
Rashid graduated in Law from Leicester University in 1998 and after a short period of work in Corporate Customer Relations, completed his PGCE in primary education at Leeds University. He has taught successfully in challenging state schools and is an experienced educator.
Privately, he has pursued his studies in the Islamic sciences with the scholars at Abu Zahra and other leading scholars in the UK. He is currently in the advanced stages of his studies.
