Arabic Language Fund
Support Students to Study Arabic Abroad
The AZF Arabic Language Fund is an initiative by Abu Zahra Foundation (Keighley, UK) to support serious and committed students to study Arabic abroad in a Muslim country such as Egypt or Turkey.
This fund exists to remove financial barriers for eligible students and help develop future students of knowledge who will benefit the wider Muslim community.
What the Fund Supports
Successful applicants may receive a fully funded Arabic study award, which can include:
- Tuition fees (paid directly to the institute)
- Return flights (economy)
- Term-based living support grant (2–3 payments per year)
- Books and study materials
Programme Length: Normally 1 year (in select cases, longer may be approved)
Students Supported Each Year: 2 students (subject to funds)
First Intake: September 2026
Zakat & Sadaqah
We accept
- Zakat (for eligible recipients only)
- Sadaqah (also accepted)
All Zakat donations are distributed only to Zakat-eligible students, in accordance with Islamic guidelines.

Who Can Apply?
Applicants should be:
- Zakat eligible (for Zakat-funded support)
- Strong academically and capable of intensive study
- Committed and serious about learning Arabic full-time
- Able to travel and study abroad
- Able to provide two references
- Typically aged 18–30 (exceptions may be considered)
Preference may be given to applicants from the Keighley or Bradford area where candidates are otherwise similar.
