Students will progress through the six Iqra books, covering:

• Recognition and correct pronunciation of Arabic letters
• Joining letters and reading words confidently
• Short and long vowels (madd)
• Sukoon, shadda and tanwin
• Reading the Uthmani Qur’anic script
• Correct makharij and pronunciation
• Essential Tajwid rules and their practical application
• Developing fluency, accuracy and confidence
• Guided Qur’an reading and regular individual correction

Outcome: By the end of the course, students should be able to read the Qur’an independently and competently, applying the essential rules of Tajwid.
